Nurses and other health care providers, educators, and leaders involved in preventing falls and injury from falls are encouraged to attend.
In this webinar, you will learn how the scope of the guideline has changed from previous editions (Prevention of Falls and Fall Injuries in the Older Adult), and key points from the guideline that may have implications for your falls prevention practices. Guidance will be given on how to evaluate the use of the guideline, and presenters will suggest some next steps towards strengthening your existing fall prevention initiative. You will also have an opportunity to ask the two co-chairs, guideline development lead and evaluation manager questions.
The objectives of this webinar are to
- update yourself on what's new: key recommendations and resources in the guideline;
- identify areas that may need to be updated to align with best practice;
- learn how you can use the evaluation measures to demonstrate the impact of the guideline.
