This interactive webinar will walk you through the third edition of RNAO's best practice guideline (BPG) Preventing Falls and Reducing Injury from Falls (2017) and associated resources in the LTC Toolkit.

The new BPG includes evidence-based practices, strategies, evaluation measures, and guidance to develop policies and procedures to help prevent falls in the LTC sector.

Who should attend?
This webinar is intended for anyone working in a long-term care home to use tools to support learning about assessment and management of residents who are at risk for falls and reducing injuries resulting from falls. Direct care staff, educators, champions, or other practice leaders are encouraged to attend.

Session Objectives

As a result of the webinar, you will be able to:
